Nordic Walking
Nordic Walking is a young and gentle sport. It originated in Finland 10 years ago and has been growing ever since. It uses specially made sticks to increase cardiovascular endurance and enhances strength in the upper body. Suitable for everyone, Nordic Walking is a great outdoor sport. We walk twice a week:

  1. Monday: 17.45   (winter time)  18h45 (summer time)
  2. Thursday: 17.45 (winter time)  18h45 (summer time)

Our Baby and Us
This is a 12-hour pre-natal course for the future parents – it combines safe exercises, breathing and relaxation techniques with a basic knowledge about different birthing options in Namibia, different stages of labour and breastfeeding. All exercises are based on the Pilates method which is an ideal form of exercise to take women through their pregnancy. It is low-impact and focuses on strengthening and releasing the pelvic floor muscles as well as working the deep stabilizing muscles. This course will be lead by Raghilt Redecker, a registered midwife and Birgit Nakamhela (Pilates Instructor and Personal Trainer).

Me and My Baby
This course is designed for the new mother and her baby and will provide her with safe exercises which help her to recover faster. We will focus on regaining strength in the pelvic floor muscles, building up gently the abdominal muscles and improving posture.

NIA
NIA (Neuromuscular Integrative Action, or we also call it Namibians in Action) is a joyous, integrative movement form - a fusion of dance, martial arts, and healing arts. The beauty of NIA is that it's suitable for any age group. regardless of how fit you are, I will guide you at your own pace. NIA is an exciting way to discover how to use your entire body to stay fit and healthy in an enjoyable way.
